Locals are small creatures that can be found in the seen and the unseen corners of our world.
They might be something in nature, like plants, animals, or elements; they can be inanimate obejcts, like computers, food, or household items; sometimes they can be based on someone or something famous; or they can be totally unique.
Next time you're walking in the woods, stopping by the neighborhood convenience store on a lazy Saturday morning, or you find yourself on a quiet street, take some time and look around. Be patient. Don't look too hard. And you might just find, out of the corner of your eye, something you never saw before.

Here's the thing: Locals are pretty shy. They're hard to find out in the world, but there are a couple was we know you might encounter them.
This is a special card designed for specific locations where Locals are known to inhabit. They come with a little bit of information about each Local, and the location they call home.
Have you ever had a little doodle that just won't stop following you around. That could be a drawing---or it could be a Local, trying to get your attention.
We don't know how, but simple doodles are a way Locals cross over from the hidden frontier, into the world we call home. And while not every doodle is a Local, it is a common way they show up in the world.
Right now, Local cards are the most common way to interact with a Local in real time. But, there is anothe rway---a way we might be able to visit them, right at home.
The hidden frontier is the vast world many Locals call home. Right now, Local cards are one of the only ways we're able to visit them---however, by next month (March of 2025), we'll have officially constructed the first Local Bridge. A simple way to visit the hidden frontier and encounter Locals in their home evironment, for the very first time.
